Obtaining Kazakhstani citizenship is possible in a simplified manner, in accordance with an agreement concluded between Kazakhstan, the Republic of Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Russia. A citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan cannot be deprived of citizenship and expelled from the country.

Instructions
Step 1
You can obtain citizenship of Kazakhstan in a simplified mode if: 1. In the past you were citizens of the USSR and one of the republics and lived on its territory until December 21, 1991. 2. You have close relatives, citizens of Kazakhstan, permanently residing in the country. 3. You reside permanently in Kazakhstan, regardless of the length of your stay in the country.
Step 2
Submit the following documents: 1. Original passport of a foreign citizen and a copy. 2. Application form 2 copies, sign, date it 3. A motivated statement addressed to the head of the regional Municipal Department of Internal Affairs. 4. Photo 3, 5x4, 5.5. Criminal record (or no criminal record) 6. State fee payment receipts. 7. A detailed autobiography in free form 2 copies, sign, date it 8. Document confirming permanent residence in the republic. 9. Marriage certificate, birth certificate.
Step 3
To obtain citizenship in the registration procedure, contact the department of the migration police at your place of residence. Write the application form to the head of the chief ATC of the region.
Step 4
The regional police department will check the completion of the documents and issue an opinion on the possibility of satisfying the application, then the application will be sent for consideration to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Step 5
If you are unjustifiably refused to accept an application on citizenship issues, if the terms of consideration and the procedure for considering decisions on citizenship issues are violated, appeal in court.
Step 6
An application for admission to the citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan may be rejected if you: 1. Commit a crime against humanity. 2. Carry out illegal activities. 3. You will kindle interethnic, interstate and religious enmity. 4. You will be convicted of terrorist activities. 5. You are recognized by the court as a particularly dangerous recidivist. 6. Be a citizen of other states.
