Different situations happen in life, and today divorce is quite an ordinary event. However, difficult psychological and moral aspects are its constant companions. The faster you complete all the necessary documents, the faster the divorce machine will start.

So, for some serious and incorrigible reason, you decided to leave. If both parties unanimously want to disperse, and they do not have joint minor children, then the application for divorce is considered in the registry office. The whole process takes about a month. If you have children or there is no agreement on any issues (for example, the division of property), then the divorce proceedings will be carried out exclusively in court.

You need to appear in court at your place of residence and, in the form suggested by the court, write an application for divorce. You will also need to provide without fail:

• marriage registration certificate, • original and (or) photocopies of birth certificates of children, • receipt of payment of state duty,

• an extract from the house register at the place of residence of the plaintiff; if you and your husband are not registered together, the following options are possible: if you are filing for divorce at your place of residence, you need an extract from the house book at your place of residence; if you are filing for divorce at the place of residence of your husband (defendant), then an extract from the place of residence of your husband is required, • if one of the spouses is unable to attend, but the divorce occurs by mutual consent - a notarized statement of consent from the spouse, • prenuptial agreement - if available, • an agreement on the maintenance of the child, his place of residence (if disputes arise, the court will require; if in this situation there is no disagreement, this is simply reflected in the application), • agreement on the division of property jointly acquired in marriage (it also becomes necessary to draw it up in case of disagreement over the division of property).

Each court can request certain documents depending on the nature of the case. Be prepared for this.

If the child stays with you, you can write a child support statement right away. In this case, you will also need a certificate of income and, possibly, an agreement on the payment of alimony.

Try to reduce conflicts and find as many common ground as possible. The fewer disagreements, the faster the process will end, because for whatever reasons it may occur, this is a very difficult life test for both parties.
