But if, nevertheless, their actions turn out to be ineffectual, you have the right to demand from the law enforcement agencies a certificate confirming the fact of your appeal regarding the loss of a military ID.

Having received this certificate, immediately go to the military registration and enlistment office at the place of registration and write a statement about the loss of a military ID, in which indicate the estimated time and place of the incident. Do not forget to describe in detail the actions you have taken to search for the "military man" and submit the certificate received from the law enforcement agencies.

To restore a lost military ID, in addition to a statement about its loss, you must provide the military registration and enlistment office with a passport with a record of your registration and 4 matte photographs without a corner measuring 30 × 40mm, designed specifically for issuing a military ID.

Depending on the reason for the loss of the military ID and on how quickly you applied to the military registration and enlistment office in order to restore it, the punishment for the loss of the document depends. This can be a strict warning or an administrative fine, which you can pay at any bank branch that accepts payments from the public. The receipt of payment will need to be presented to the military registration and enlistment office.
Step 5
If you are of draft age, but were released from service due to health conditions, be sure to present a medical certificate to the military registration and enlistment office indicating the diagnosis.
Step 6
The whole process of restoring a lost military ID takes, as a rule, no more than 5 working days from the moment of contacting the military registration and enlistment office.
