Instructions
Step 1
Identify specific individuals for whose actions or omissions you will file a complaint. Think about which of your rights have been violated. Find a law that enshrines these rights and establishes responsibility for their violation. If you find it difficult to do this or are not sure of the correctness of your actions, consult a lawyer.
Step 2
Review the documents and other evidence you have regarding this case. If you come to the conclusion that some evidence is lacking, and you can get it yourself, do it - a complaint supported by evidence is always better than unfounded. Determine the circle of people who can testify in your case.
Step 3
Find out the address of the prosecutor's office to which you are going to file a complaint, as well as the surname, name, patronymic of the prosecutor.
Step 4
Type the complaint on a computer, so the text is much easier to read, and the speed and quality of its consideration depends on it.
Step 5
In the “heading” of the document, indicate the position of the prosecutor, his surname and initials, for example, “To the Prosecutor of the Leninsky District of the city of Ensk, AA Ivanov”. Here also write your last name, first name, patronymic in the genitive case with the preposition "from", as well as your actual residence address, telephone, fax, e-mail address.
Step 6
Below the “header” in the middle of the sheet, write the word “complaint” with a capital letter or using the CapsLock key. Here, in the title, you can briefly indicate on whose actions the complaint is brought or what it is about. For example, “Complaint about illegal actions of an investigator” or “Complaint about violation of the right to inviolability of home”. The main thing is that it should be short and express the essence of the appeal.
Step 7
In the text following the title, state all relevant information in a logical sequence. Mention the evidence you have and the witnesses who can testify. At the end, state the request to the prosecutor based on the rules of the law.
Step 8
If the complaint will be accompanied by documents, make a list of them in the appendix.
Step 9
Sign the complaint, put the current date.
