According to labor legislation, the calculation of the time spent by an employee on the performance of his job duties is based on the working time norm, which is regulated by the Procedure for calculating the working time norm for a month, quarter or year, in accordance with the established working hours per week, which is approved by the Order of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation from August 13, 2009 No. 588n.

Instructions

Step 1

Based on the above Procedure, the standard working time is calculated according to the estimated schedule of a five-day or six-day working week, based on the duration of daily work, which is eight hours for a forty-hour work week, and six hours for a thirty-hour work week. In the case of a six-day work week, the number of hours for a forty-hour work week would be 6, 7 hours per day and five hours per day, respectively.

Step 2

If a day off and a public holiday coincide, the day off is postponed to the next day after the holiday. If a holiday falls on a working week, then the working day preceding it is reduced by one hour. This calculation applies to all types of workweeks, including six days.

Step 3

As a result of the above, the norm of the working week of a particular month should be calculated in the following order: the length of the working week, expressed in hours, is divided by the number of days per week, multiplied by the number of working days according to the calendar of a six-day or five-day system, and the number of hours is subtracted from this number. which in a given month is a reduction in working hours on the eve of holidays.
