Job interview is a serious test for a job seeker. The candidate has to answer the rather tricky questions of the employer or the representative of the personnel department, who seek to obtain complete and comprehensive information about the future employee. How to answer the questions correctly in order to successfully pass the interview?
Instructions
Step 1
Start preparing for your interview ahead of time. Try to put yourself in the shoes of an employer and identify a range of possible questions. Practice shows that there are one and a half dozen points that are repeated from interview to interview. The employer will most likely ask you to tell about yourself, about your strengths and weaknesses, about the reasons for leaving your previous job, about why you chose this particular company. Think over your answers so that you don't waste time thinking during the interview.
Step 2
When talking about yourself, immediately highlight your advantages over most other candidates. Feel free to talk about your real achievements in the professional field. Indicate what abilities help you in your work. Emphasize your willingness to take on the responsibilities of the position you are applying for. Be laconic and confident.
Step 3
When answering the question about life's difficulties and how you cope with them, speak in a positive way: a variety of problems happen in life, but any difficulties can be overcome if you consider them as tasks and always have a goal in front of you. Point out that you are not used to relying on the will of circumstances and know how to mobilize forces in the event of possible failures. It will be a mistake to refer to bad luck, to blame relatives, colleagues or former management for the problems.
Step 4
If you are asked why you were attracted to this particular company and position, please provide your reasons for demonstrating that this is where you will be able to maximize your abilities and professional skills. Try to convince the employer that in your person he will acquire an irreplaceable employee who can bring great benefits to the company.
Step 5
Don't be embarrassed when asked about your inherent flaws. Readily mark two or three personality traits that may be considered strengths in certain situations. For example, say that you are overly demanding of yourself, colleagues, and subordinates. Remember that the complete absence of flaws can be perceived as not too critical of yourself or as insincerity.
Step 6
Prepare in advance for the question of the salary you are counting on. Check the minimum and maximum wages for this position in your area. Usually there is a certain "fork" in official salaries. When asked about salary, choose a level slightly higher than what you are actually applying for.
Step 7
When answering questions, be correct and discreet. You shouldn't be too frank, because you are not seeing a therapist. However, it is not recommended to hide information that is essential for employment from the employer.
