A copywriter's job is not always about writing articles on an interesting and easy topic. There are such orders, the text for which you pull out of your finger with force and reluctance. For some topics, it is difficult to write even two small paragraphs. In extreme cases, the copywriter begins to fill the article with "water", not knowing how to increase the number of characters in the text.
What is "water" and how much should there be in a quality text?
It is customary to call words "water" in the text if they have no semantic meaning. These include stop words, common cliches and other words and phrases that are not related to the essence of the topic. Most adjectives can also be included here.

The optimal value of the "water content" of the text for informational articles should be in the region of 35-40%. And the maximum possible indicator of "water content" should not exceed 65%. Otherwise, it is safe to say that the text will be useless to the reader.
How to increase the number of characters in an article without "water"?
If possible, add tips from yourself. Mark the nuances and hidden important points. Thus, the article will be more informative and, most importantly, useful for the reader. Various kinds of warnings will also be helpful.
You can add reviews to the article. Although they will give a subjective assessment, but thanks to them, readers will begin to trust the described product. But don't write too big reviews. Better to add a few small and positive product clippings to the text.
You can add a couple of quotes. But do not fill the entire article with them, otherwise it will turn out to be non-unique.
If quotes, reviews and tips have already been added, and the number of characters in the text is still not enough, then you need to start describing each aspect in detail. It will be useful to add either useful photos or screenshots to the description. Then the text will be more descriptive for the reader. But do not overdo it, describing even the little things that are understandable to everyone. For example, when writing a text about how to install a program, you should not write that installation will be impossible if you do not check the box about accepting the rules in the window. This is usually clear during installation.
If even this did not work out the required number of characters in the text, then it is worth adding a few adverbial expressions. They usually make sentences longer. Comparisons and epithets can be added to the text to add emotion to the text. But it is worth recalling that a large number of emotionally charged sentences will make the text useless.
