Maternity leave is paid for 140 days. For complicated labor, 16 days are added. For multiple pregnancies, maternity leave is 194 days. All days are paid on the basis of 100% of the average earnings for 24 months. For women with less than 6 months of experience, the payment of maternity days is calculated according to the minimum wage. Sick leave and vacation days at your own expense are not included in the calculation amount. A woman employed by several employers can receive the amount of maternity leave at all enterprises. The maximum amount cannot exceed 1136.99 for one day of payment.

Step 1
In order to calculate the amount you will receive: divide the amount earned in two years by 730 and multiply by 140 (or 156, 194, depending on the outcome of childbirth and the number of children born and born). For example, with a salary of 20,000 rubles, it looks like this:
20,000 * 24 = 480,000 (all earnings in 2 years).
480,000: 730 = 657.53 (amount per day).
657.53 * 140 = 92054.2 (the amount of your maternity leave).
Step 2
In case of difficult and complicated childbirth, 16 additional days are paid separately (based on a certificate).
Step 3
When two or more children are born: 657.53 * 194 = 127,560.82 (you will receive this amount).
Step 4
The amount for sick leave and vacation at your own expense is not taken into account in the total amount. Subtract the entire amount for the time of the certificate of incapacity for work from earnings for 24 months, and divide it anyway by 730 (the number of days in 2 years).
Step 5
For women individual entrepreneurs and women with less than 6 months of experience, the calculation is made on the basis of the minimum wage (on the day of maternity leave). Multiply the minimum size by 24, divide by 730 and multiply by the prescribed days of maternity leave (by 140, 156 or 194).
Step 6
Less than the minimum wage for all working women, the amount of maternity leave is not charged.
