Instructions

Step 1

Currently, you can get a job as an investigator in 4 departments: in the Investigative Committee of Russia, in the Federal Security Service, in the internal affairs bodies and in the Federal Service for Drug Control. Since the investigator has broad powers to carry out criminal prosecution, he is subject to increased requirements and given a special status.

Step 2

For example, regardless of the departmental affiliation, work in the investigation is impossible without a higher legal education. At the same time, an investigator in any position, unlike other employees, is always assigned an officer rank. For example, work in the Ministry of Internal Affairs or in the Investigative Committee gives an investigator the rank of an officer of justice, ranging from junior lieutenant to general's shoulder straps.

Step 3

For the position of an investigator, work in the Ministry of Internal Affairs presupposes full legal capacity, age no more than 35 and no less than 18 years, higher legal education obtained in an educational institution that has state accreditation and license, Russian citizenship and no criminal record.

Step 4

If you meet these requirements and want to get a job as an investigator in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, then visit the internal affairs body and submit an application for the examination of documents, write an autobiography and fill out a questionnaire according to the forms that will be issued by the personnel department. Along with the specified documents, submit your passport, diploma of higher legal education, work book and military ID.

Step 5

Then go through the military medical commission and psychophysiological diagnostics, which will determine the suitability for work in the investigation.

Step 6

If you get a positive opinion from the military medical commission and the center for psychophysiological diagnostics, then take the standards for physical training.

Step 7

When all tests are passed and verification activities are completed, sign a service contract and take the oath of an internal affairs officer. From this moment on, your work in the investigation begins, which will require the daily application of all available strength and knowledge and constant professional improvement in order to serve the Law with honor.
