In the tax code of the Russian Federation there is a law that says "income of individuals from the sale of property, including a car" is taxed. The owner who has completed the transaction for the sale of his personal car is obliged to submit a declaration of income received. After that, the tax will be calculated from the total amount of money received for the car.

Instructions

Step 1

To fill out the declaration, go to the official website of the Federal Tax Service of Russia and download to your computer the Declaration 20 … g program, which is intended for individuals. Choose the program of the year that coincides with the year your car was sold. A separate program is presented for each year.

Step 2

Install and run the program. Go to the section "Setting conditions" type of declaration "Z-NDFL". Select the inspection number from the list provided. Put the correction number "0" in case it is not a re-feed with corrections. Check the box "other individual" - a sign of a taxpayer.

Step 3

Fill in the section "information about the declarant". Indicate in it your passport data, passport number and series and IIN. After you have filled in all the information, click on the icon (house) and fill in the second part of the "information about the declarant". Namely: postal code, city of residence, OKATO number and contact phone number.

Step 4

Go to the section "income received in the Russian Federation". Click "+" located in the column "source of payments". In the field that opens, fill in only the full name of the person to whom you sold the car. Below is the second field, in it click "+" and fill in the "Information about the income received" column.

Step 5

Select the income code 1520 (this includes income received from the sale of property, except for the Central Bank). Enter the amount of income that you received when selling a car. Select a deduction (expense) code, this code is selected for each case individually. Indicate the amount of income and the month (in numbers), code you received this income.

Step 6

The column "Total amounts by source of payment" is not required to be filled. Print out the completed declaration, sign in the "Signature" column and submit the document to the tax office.
