Making a copy of a passport is not particularly difficult. The only question is the requirements for it from the organization to which it is intended: how many pages are required, which ones, whether it is necessary to certify it by a notary or is it simple enough, whether it is necessary to stitch the document. Depending on this, the order of the necessary actions is determined.

- - glue, a sheet of paper and a fountain pen (not in all cases);
- - notary services (not in all cases).

Step 1
Check with the organization that needs the copy for any requirements. This will help you avoid unnecessary costs and body movements and immediately prepare the document that is required.
Step 2
In most cases, a simple copy of your passport is sufficient. In this case, you can independently make copies of the necessary pages using a copier in the office or at home, or contact any place where such services are provided, inform you which copies of which pages you need, and make a payment.
Most often, only spreads with your personal data and photograph and information about the registration address are needed. But it may also be required for all pages with marks or, less often, in general for all pages of the passport.
Step 3
A special case is a copy of the passport of an individual entrepreneur. When presenting it to the tax office, you usually need to fasten all the pages with a stapler or thread and glue on the back of the binding place a paper indicating the number of sheets, date, signature, its decoding and, if available, with a seal.
In some organizations, an entrepreneur himself must certify a copy of his passport with the inscription "Copy is correct", date, personal signature, its decoding and, if available, with a seal.

If you need a strictly notarized copy, contact a notary with your passport and pay for his services according to the current price list, and he himself will do everything that is needed.
