The Civil Code of Russia is the main document regulating the branch of civil law. It reflects the rights to property, private property, personal life of every citizen of the state.

Step 1
First of all, when looking for the right article in the Civil Code, you need to know that it consists of four parts. Each of them regulates one or another aspect of civil relations. The first part is devoted to the general definitions of civil legislation: what it includes, what is meant by the concepts of "natural person", "legal entity". Starting with article 209, the Code sets out information on the right to property and other property rights. Everything related to the term of ownership, transfer to other persons, protection of this right, you will also find here. The final articles of the first part are devoted to the law of obligations. Here the relationship of the parties is regulated for various obligations (for example, debts).
Step 2
The second part is devoted to certain types of obligations. Here you will find information on the regulation of specific actions between the parties. Such as donation, rent, provision of services, transportation, insurance, games and bets, bank deposits and accounts, loans, etc.
Step 3
The third part is devoted to the issues of property inheritance. It also explains general concepts: what is inheritance, what is the procedure for receiving it, and what property can become an inheritance. In this section, you will also find information on wills. And right there, starting with Article 1186, issues related to international law, participation of foreign persons, etc. are clarified.
Step 4
And finally, in the final part of the Code, it is said about intellectual property and copyrights. In the same section you will also find Chapter 75 on the rights to trade secrets (know-how).
