Instructions

Step 1

The company may increase its pay to employees for night work. This is established by the collective agreement and spelled out in the regulations of the enterprise.

Step 2

If an employee is paid a salary, and not a wage rate, then the pay should be determined for one hour of work in a given month. To do this, the salary should be divided by the number of working hours in a month. The resulting number is multiplied by the number of hours worked per night and by the percentage established for work at night. Unless otherwise established by the regulatory enactments of the enterprise, then by 20% as required by the legislative regulations.

Step 3

When working at night on holidays and weekends, the amount of the salary should be multiplied by 2 or an additional day off should be provided. The supplement for night hours should be made by multiplying the one hour wage rate calculated from the salary by the number of hours worked per night and by the percentage of the supplement for night work.

Step 4

If an employee is involved in overtime work at night, which exceeds the norm of his work schedule, then the number of night hours should be multiplied by the wage rate for one hour of work, multiplied by the percentage of pay for night hours and multiplied by two. Because overtime is double paid.

Step 5

Raising wages for night work is wrong. During the inspection, the employer may be fined for non-payment for night hours or suspend the work of the enterprise for up to 90 days. Therefore, nightly hours should always be paid based on the hourly wage rate multiplied by the number of night hours worked and the percentage of night work pay.
