Getting a new job? Your colleagues will probably want to know where you are from, how you went to school, what university you graduated from. Prepare a short presentation. It may contain photographs of your hometown, school, university, several photos that illustrate your hobby.

Before you go to a new company where you want to make a good impression, take care of your appearance. You should look neat and stylish, but by no means provocative. Take advantage of unusual accessories: put on a bright neckerchief, jewelry you brought from your trip, a funny hat. A beautiful hairstyle and well-chosen makeup will complete your look.

When asked to introduce yourself, state your name. You should not write stories about your noble origins or about how your own mother left you in a storage room at the station, where a day later you were found and adopted by kind people. It is likely that after such stories, you will be considered just weird. Better tell some interesting facts about yourself. Perhaps you are fond of tourism and even climbed Everest? Your new colleagues will be delighted that they now know personally the conqueror of the peaks. Do you have a hand-made job? Take your creation with you. Maybe you have an iguana living in your home, have you lived in Japan for several years, or have you made a short film that won a student competition? Interesting stories about yourself will help you to be known as an original person.
