A passport, like almost any document, has its own validity period. In accordance with the law, it must be changed upon reaching the age of 20 and 45, and this must be done within 10 days from the date of birth. if the deadline for replacing the document is missed, the Federal Migration Service has the right to impose a fine on the citizen in accordance with the Administrative Code.
Instructions
Step 1
To get started, fill out an application at the passport office to replace your expired passport. Keep in mind that the government gives you 30 days to do this. After this period, you will be fined. Its amount varies from 1,500 to 2,500 rubles. The basis for collecting money from you is the Code of Administrative Offenses or the Administrative Offenses Code, according to which any citizen is required to have a passport.
Step 2
The sequence of actions when paying the fine for an expired passport is simple. Go to a bank that accepts these types of payments. Find a counter with samples of how to fill out receipts for payment. Your goal is a late payment penalty. Take a blank form and carefully rewrite the details. At the end, add information about yourself, by which you can be easily identified and, of course, the amount of the fine itself.
Step 3
Alternatively, you can use special payment terminals that accept tax payments and state duties. You will be presented with a simple interactive menu on the screen. Follow the instructions of the system making the necessary selection of options.
Step 4
In the main menu, from the list, you select the item Taxes and Fines. Next, select the item Penalty for losing your passport. After that, you will be prompted to enter the amount to be paid. The terminal will ask you to proceed to inserting banknotes into a special receiver. Typically, after data entry is complete, it will begin to glow with a contrasting color and flash to attract attention. Some ATMs also accept payment of fines. To do this, you simply insert your bank card, with which you can conduct such transactions and also follow the instructions on the information display. The only difference is that the money is withdrawn non-cash, and you do not physically insert any notes into the terminal.
Step 5
Bill acceptors can be different: designed to accept one or more banknotes. The terminal itself will display you an information message on how to enter money.
Follow the messages and the operation will be successful. At the end, you will receive a payment receipt, which will serve as a confirmation of the transfer of funds.
