Citizens of foreign states, as well as stateless persons who are going to visit the territory of the Russian Federation, need to apply for a Russian visa. To obtain a visa to Russia, it is necessary to correctly draw up an invitation to a foreign citizen from a person registered and residing in the territory of the Russian Federation.
Instructions
Step 1
The invitation is a form that is issued by the FMS (Department of the Federal Migration Service). A foreigner can obtain a Russian visa at the consulate of the Russian Federation in the country where he lives. A visa can be obtained only on the basis of an invitation by persons registered in the territory of the Russian Federation.
Step 2
In accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, an invitation is issued within a period not exceeding 30 days from the date of application. After receiving notification of the readiness of the invitation to the "personal account", the applicant personally applies to the territorial body of the FMS and presents the necessary documents and copies, as well as a receipt for payment of the state fee (500 rubles).
Step 3
List of documents:
1. Identity document (passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation).
2. Residence permit (for a foreign citizen).
3. Application form for issuing an invitation (in 2 copies).
4. Copy of 1-2 pages of the passport of the invited foreign citizen.
5. Application-guarantee of material, housing and medical support of the invited foreign citizen for the period of his stay in the Russian Federation.
6. Certificate from the place of work about wages for the last 6 months.
7. For pensioners, a pension certificate, a certificate of pension for the last 6 months.
8. Receipt for payment of state duty (500 rubles)
