Many people hate their jobs. This is usually the result of choices made under pressure from circumstances or environment. In order to make a truly correct choice, a person should be guided only by his own preferences and desires. The work can be hard, painstaking, and time-consuming to complete, but it will be almost invisible if it is loved.
Instructions
Step 1
Make a list of the professions you've ever liked. It can be either a conscious choice or those types of work that you just liked because of the impression that the people doing them made. Perhaps these are the spheres of activity in which your parents or acquaintances work - the most important thing is that for some reason this profession is liked by you.
Step 2
Make a list of your skills and qualities that you possess. Consider all the skills that you have acquired during your life, specialized education and courses, as well as those features of your psychological and physical development that distinguish you from those around you. Remember that the more clearly you work out this point, the easier it will be for you to carry out the final analysis.
Step 3
Compare the two lists you compiled for overlaps, and for a possible pattern in which your skills currently match your aspirations. Look for any matches. This way you can most clearly see the "white spots" that need to be filled in order to achieve your goal. Make a few lists, first with your goal, followed by the skills you possess, and then the skills you need to achieve your goal. Please note that it is necessary to carry out the points in this sequence, this is how you can maintain maximum objectivity.
Step 4
Fill in the "blank spots" according to the charts drawn up - attend courses or get the necessary skills, and then start looking for a job. If you find that the job is not suitable for you, carefully analyze the reason. If the reason is in the team and your relationship with the management, change your place of work, keeping the same profession, otherwise, feel free to cross out this profession and proceed to the next one, according to the lists compiled in paragraph three.
