Every three years Rosstandart (Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology) conducts scheduled inspections in relation to enterprises that are included in the scope of their supervisory activities. Instructions

Step 1

Prepare all information about the company:

- TIN (individual taxpayer number);

- OGRN (main state registration number);

- order on the appointment of a director;

- order on the appointment of a person responsible for metrological support of the enterprise;

- the charter of the enterprise (if any).

Step 2

Prepare a list of measuring instruments (hereinafter SI), with which the inspectors will work. This document must indicate the date of the last verification of each device, the calibration interval and the type of measuring instrument.

Step 3

Make copies of all documents. Certify with the signature of the head and the seal of the enterprise.

Step 4

Check each SI for verification. The verification mark can be applied to the device. There are specially designated places for this. Verification certificates are also issued. And if there is a passport for SI, then there should be a page with information about verification.

Step 5

If, nevertheless, some measuring instruments have not passed the verification procedure, then they must be handed over to the organization that provides this service. Many of them, for 200% payment, can complete their work in the shortest possible time.
