You will never get bored with a job that you do with pleasure. It is done with a smile and enthusiasm. Looking at a person who is busy with his favorite work, you immediately understand that he has found his place.
Can you get bored with your favorite job?
Favorite work corresponds to a person's vocation. She meets his talents and abilities. A person enjoys the process of work and receives satisfaction from the results. You can find your favorite job by following the dictates of your own soul. Get the education you need, if necessary, and start working.
It is not always possible to find a dream job right away. Sometimes you have to work in other places as well. Many people throughout their lives never get the job that ideally suits them, satisfies them morally and financially.
Paying for your favorite job is a separate issue. It happens that they get paid exactly for the work that you don't want to do. And the person chooses money. It is a pity if he found himself in all his life. There is also another approach. Start doing your favorite job, at first, albeit for little money, and gradually, perhaps in a few years, it will begin to bring a stable income.
It is interesting that a person can find his own business even in his declining years. Suddenly you want to do something new that you have never done before. There are cases when people began to learn something new even at the age of 80. The main thing is to never set yourself artificial barriers and restrictions on age, gender, nationality, etc.
Love for work or workaholism?
It's great if you managed to find a dream job. But how to determine the line beyond which love for work turns into workaholism? From the outside it looks almost the same. The person is passionate about his work, stays on overtime with joy and without asking for payment. On weekends, he only thinks that Monday comes as soon as possible, or he simply does not interrupt his work.
Workaholism is a dangerous disease from the category of addictions. A work addict ignores personal life, forgets about rest and deprives of sleep. A workaholic, even on vacation, continues to deal with work issues.
With workaholism, a person is not interested in anything other than work-related things. He does not read literature that does not correspond to the topic of the work topic. He does not watch feature films and other television programs, except for those related to his direct work. He considers visiting cinemas, theaters, exhibitions and museums a waste of time. He categorically does not want to have fun and does not know how. And you need to treat workaholism in the same way as other addictions. But this is a completely separate topic.
