The interview is a key moment when applying for a job. The employer needs to see the future candidate for a certain position in person. Therefore, it is so important to be able to present yourself well.
Instructions
Step 1
First, before you go to your interview, collect all the important documents you may need. These include the following: passport, work book, educational diploma, insurance certificate, TIN, bank details, recommendations of past employers.
Step 2
Secondly, be sure to take care of your appearance. If you are going to apply for an elite organization, then dress according to your future status. Suppose an employer in a fashion magazine evaluates first of all your style and ability to present yourself with the help of unusual things. Conversely, the director of the accounting office is more likely to assess your ability to dress strictly, while using only monotonous colors. Be sure to take care of your hairstyle. If you haven't cut your hair or dyed for a long time, then be sure to go to the hairdresser. It will also be appropriate to get a manicure, as unkempt nails can characterize you as a sloppy person.
Step 3
Third, be clear about what you can offer the employer. Make a list of the services you can provide and literally memorize them. At the same time, be prepared for the fact that you will have to quickly readjust to the employer's requests, changing the old level of services to a new one. The person who hires you should see you as a reliable worker who can solve most problems. In order not to make a mistake in front of the employer, we advise you to rehearse your speech several times in front of a mirror or in front of loved ones. Friends will point out to you the shortcomings, after which you can correct them.
Step 4
Fourth, forget about your personality traits such as fear and anxiety. Self-confidence is the main quality in applying for a job. If you are afraid of situations of uncertainty, then think for yourself or ask friends to make a list of compromising questions. Your risk of showing yourself ill will decrease if you come up with as many answers as possible. Fears and worries can also be relieved with the help of sedatives (green tea, valerian infusion). Try to avoid getting too stressed out before hiring, and get a good night's sleep the night before your interview. Try to keep yourself in good shape in front of the employer's office. Watch for even breathing, behave sincerely and moderately with restraint.
