Powers of the Preobrazhensky District Court of Moscow
The Preobrazhensky District Court of Moscow considers all criminal, civil and administrative cases as a court of first instance, with the exception of cases referred by federal laws to the jurisdiction of other courts (Article 31 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation; Articles 23, 25, 26 and 27 of the Civil of the Procedural Code of the Russian Federation; Articles 17.1, 18, 20 and 21 of the Code of Administrative Procedure of the Russian Federation).
In the cases established by part 3 of Article 23.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, judges of the Preobrazhensky District Court shall consider cases of administrative offenses at first instance.
The Preobrazhensky District Court considers appeals, submissions against decisions of justices of the peace acting on the territory of the respective judicial region.
Judges of the Preobrazhensky District Court consider complaints, protests against decisions of the justices of the peace operating in the territory of the corresponding judicial region that have not entered into legal force, as well as against decisions that have not entered into legal force, decisions of officials in cases of administrative offenses.
The Preobrazhensky District Court, in accordance with federal law, considers cases on new or newly discovered circumstances.

How to get to the Preobrazhensky District Court of Moscow
You can go to the court: metro station "Preobrazhenskaya ploshchad", the last carriage from the center, then 15 minutes on foot: walk 240 meters along Preobrazhenskaya square towards the embankment, turn right at the intersection with 1st Bukhvostova street and walk about 400 meters to the intersection street 2nd Bukhvostova, turn left and walk about 220 meters to the courthouse.
