The FMS of Russia has approved a new regulation for issuing foreign passports - the new form has already arrived at the offices of the Federal Migration Service, where you can issue a passport for a period of ten years. How can this procedure be carried out correctly and what is required for this?
Preparation for registration
Of the documents for obtaining a new passport, you will need to present an all-Russian passport, two photographs of 3, 5/4, 5 centimeters, a questionnaire in 2 copies, a receipt for payment of a state duty, a military ID and relevant documents for children. In addition, citizens working in non-state institutions need to present a photocopy of their work book, and men from 18 to 27 years old - a certificate of the established form obtained from the military registration and enlistment office.
When issuing a new passport, servicemen must obtain permission to travel abroad.
At the same time, the size of the state duty remained the same - you need to pay 2,500 rubles for a new passport, and 200 rubles for making changes to an existing passport. A biometric passport for children under the age of 14 will cost 1200 rubles. In case of refusal to issue a passport, the amount of the paid state duty will be fully refunded. The deadlines for obtaining a passport also remained the same: to submit documents at the place of residence - 1 month, at the actual place of residence or place of stay - 4 months. If you have a seriously ill relative abroad or need urgent foreign treatment, a new passport can be issued in 3 days.
Obtaining a new passport
To get a new international passport, you can use one of two methods. The first is a trip to the department of the federal migration service at the place of registration, where you have to stand in a long queue, hand over the prepared documents and get a passport in three to four weeks. The second, less tedious and faster way to get it, is to register on the site of the Single Portal of State and Municipal Services (www.gosuslugi.ru).
To quickly obtain a username and password, it is advisable to use a central communication center, since the data will be sent by mail for several weeks.
After receiving a login and password to access your personal account, you need to create an application on the site and fill out a questionnaire and other necessary documents there. After consideration of the application, an invitation will be sent to the central branch of the regional FMS, where digital photography will be carried out. After this procedure, within a few weeks, a notification will be sent by e-mail about the extraordinary receipt of a finished passport at the local branch of the Federal Migration Service.
