Step 1
The citizens of the Russian Federation can use the maternity capital regardless of their place of residence. A certificate is issued not only to mothers of a child, but also to fathers, if they are the only caregivers of the child after their birth or adoption, for example, after the death of a woman during childbirth or when a woman is deprived of parental rights.
Step 2
Maternity capital can be used not only for teaching a child or for the funded part of a pension, but also for repaying a mortgage loan, for improving housing conditions, including through the construction of their own housing. Nobody will give out anything in cash. All payments are made only in a non-cash form.
Step 3
To obtain a certificate, contact the Pension Fund with an application for a certificate and documents. In a month you will receive a certificate for maternity capital. The size is recalculated annually depending on inflation and the Central Bank's refinancing rates. These funds can be disposed of in parts or in full.
Step 4
To obtain the right to dispose of maternity capital for the construction of a house, it is necessary to register the land for construction in the ownership of the whole family.
Step 5
Write a statement to the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation about the desire to use funds for individual construction. In order for your decision to be approved, real estate must be built on the territory of the Russian Federation. You can write this statement only three years after the birth of the child. Money for construction materials will be transferred by bank transfer. You can use them no more than 50%. The rest can be used after 6 months.
