Free privatization of housing is carried out only once in a lifetime. Like any other transaction with housing, privatization in accordance with Federal Law 122-F3 of 01/31/98 and Article 131 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation is subject to registration with the Office of the Federal Registration Center. To register a privatized apartment and obtain a certificate of ownership, you need to prepare a number of documents and contact the specified center.

Necessary

  • - passport, birth certificate (for children);
  • - agreement on the transfer of property in duplicate;
  • - a statement from the one who transfers the apartment and from the one who receives it;
  • - act of acceptance and transfer;
  • - extract from the cadastral passport;
  • - a copy of the cadastral plan;
  • - a receipt for payment of the state registration fee.

Instructions

Step 1

To register the transaction, you will need an agreement on the transfer of real estate in two copies, signed by the manager of the Housing Policy Fund, the head of the local municipality and all family members who participated in the privatization, as well as an apartment transfer and acceptance certificate signed by the district administration.

Step 2

Contact the BTI department. Write a request to call a technical officer to issue a cadastral passport for an apartment. Based on the inspection, a technical plan will be drawn up for you and a cadastral passport will be issued. All registration at the BTI can take three months, so if for some reason you urgently need to register an apartment in ownership, then plan this in advance or pay an urgent tariff, at which work can be done within one working day. At the usual rate, everything will be made out in the order of the general queue, and therefore it will take several months. After completing all the technical documents, take an extract from the passport and a copy of the cadastral plan.

Step 3

Contact the Department of Housing Policy and receive an application to transfer the apartment to ownership. The application must be stamped by this organization and signed by the manager.

Step 4

Next comes the final stage of registration. All adult family members who participated in the privatization must contact the Office of the Federal Registration Center and apply for registration of property rights. If someone cannot be present in person, then he must give a notarized power of attorney so that a notarized trustee acts on its basis.

Step 5

In addition to the application and all the above documents, a receipt for payment of the state registration fee will be required.

Step 6

On the basis of the documents submitted, the apartment will be registered and after 30 days a certificate of common ownership will be issued for all family members who participated in the privatization.
