In a privatized apartment, you can register not only a relative, but also anyone, if you deem it necessary. Documents confirming relationship are not required. Depending on the situation, you can use the services of a notary to complete an application for the provision of housing or a contract for using it, or register it at the housing office.

Necessary

  • - a document confirming the ownership of the apartment;
  • - a statement of the person who provided the dwelling, or an agreement on the free use of the dwelling space, certified by a notary or in the EIRTs;
  • - upon certification in the EIRTS: personal presence of all adult residents of the apartment with passports;
  • - an application for registration at the place of residence and a completed deregistration coupon as before or a departure sheet (the latter is optional);
  • - passport or birth certificate of the registrant.
  • Additionally for certification by a notary:
  • - passports and personal presence of all adults registered in the apartment;
  • - a copy of the financial and personal account;
  • - an extract from the house book.

Instructions

Step 1

The most difficult document is an application for registration or, which may be even more difficult, an agreement on the free use of residential premises. This is a typical document that any notary or EIRTS employees can easily provide, you can also find it on the Internet. The problem is that all adult family members must be present when signing it. And both notaries and the housing office are accepted only during working hours. It is even more difficult if one of the tenants does not leave the four walls for health reasons. In this case, it remains only to call a notary at home, which significantly increases the price of the issue (the average price in Moscow for this service alone is 5,000 rubles).

Step 2

Before visiting a notary or calling him at home, you will have to go to the EIRTS to take an extract from the house book and a copy of the financial and personal account. On the basis of these documents, the notary will make sure that he sees everyone who is registered at the place of residence in the apartment. These documents can be requested at the housing office, but there you will not have to go far for them: the first is taken directly at the passport office, the second - in the accounting department, which is usually located in the same room. Any adult registered in the apartment can take both documents upon presentation of a passport. All adult residents must present their passports to a notary or an employee of the housing office and sign the contract in his presence.

Step 3

The application form for registration at the place of residence can be taken from the passport office or the territorial department of the FMS or downloaded from the portal of public services along with a sample of filling. On the portal, after authorization, it is available for filling online. After receiving a notification of acceptance of the application via the Internet, you must provide the necessary documents to the Housing Office or the FMS department (depending on the region) within 3 days. Otherwise, it is brought to the Housing Office as part of the entire set or obtained and filled by hand on the spot.

Step 4

It is also necessary to present a passport and a departure sheet or fill out an application for deregistration at the previous place of residence. If a person has not been registered anywhere before and does not have a departure sheet, this is not an obstacle in accepting documents. If all documents are in order, a passport with a registration stamp can be obtained within three days.
