June on the production calendar is one of the shortest months in 2019. Not only does it start with the weekend and end with them, but in the first month of summer there is 1 public holiday.
The first month of the warmest season of the year will bring a lot of reasons for joy. The sun shines joyfully in the sky, the grass turns shrilly underfoot, the leaves of the trees rustle in a friendly way. But not only nature will give a joyful mood, but also the production calendar for June 2019.
Work shifts in June
There are 19 working days and 11 days off in June, including a public holiday. And the month itself starts with the weekend. June 1 falls on Saturday, therefore, the working month will start only on the 3rd day. By the way, June 1 is a public holiday, but it is not a public holiday, and therefore an extra day off for it is not provided for under the Labor Code of the Russian Federation.
Further weekends fall on: 8, 9, 12 (Day of Russia), 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, 30. Thus, the month also ends with the weekend.
Since the working weeks in the country are forty-hour, 36-hour and 24-hour, it will take a different number of hours to work, depending on the schedule. So, with a five-day schedule and an 8-hour working day, people will work 151 hours in total. With a 6-day work week - 135.8 hours, and with a 24-hour workweek - 90.2 hours.
Holidays in June 2019
Public holidays in June are relatively recent. Until 1994, the month was not interrupted by any extra days of rest. Although in fact there are a lot of holidays this month.
Despite this, only one is considered official - the Day of Russia, which the whole country will celebrate on the 12th. You should definitely check the weather forecast for this date so that you can safely go out into nature with friends. But strong drinks will not be on sale that day, therefore, if you wish, you should stock up on them in advance.
In cities on June 12, there will be official celebrations, folk festivals and festive concerts. As a rule, the Day of Russia ends with an enchanting salute, which is arranged by the administration of settlements. Discos and laser shows will be held at night, so people can choose an event to their liking. The only thing that can darken the joy of this day is that June 13 is a working day, so most people will not have to especially enjoy the nighttime events.
Before the Day of Russia - June 11 - there will be a shorter working day. Therefore, those who do not plan to celebrate in the city, but decided to go to the dacha, can leave in advance. However, not every organization can release its employees from work 1 hour earlier. This applies to continuous production - hospitals, boiler houses, pumping stations, etc. The inability to interrupt the production process causes even those who work 40 hours a week to remain at the workplace as usual.
Also a day off on June 12 and a shorter working day will not please those who work in shifts of 2/2, 4/2, 3/2, etc. Such people will be paid double the working day on June 12, or they will be given additional rest time on another day.
If you feel like it, you can celebrate:
- June 1 - Children's Day;
- June 5 - Day of the Ecologist;
- June 6 - Day of the Russian language;
- June 6 - Social Worker's Day;
- June 9 - Day of workers in the textile and light industry;
- June 12 - Day of Russia;
- June 14 - FMS Workers Day;
- June 16 - Day of health workers;
- June 22 - Day of Remembrance and Sorrow. It is difficult to call this day a holiday, because in 1941 the country was attacked;
- June 25 - Statistics Worker Day;
- June 27 - Youth Day;
- June 29 will give two whole holidays - the Day of the partisans and underground workers and the Day of the inventor.
As you can see, mostly in June there are professional holidays, so do not forget to congratulate your friends if any of them works in the relevant field.
