Wages are a very important clause of an employment contract (Article 57 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation), and an employment contract is a bilateral agreement signed by two parties. Instructions

Step 1

If you reduce wages to employees, notify them in writing two months in advance against receipt. This is necessary so that there is evidence that everyone was warned about the changes.

Step 2

In due time, draw up an additional agreement to the employment contract (article 72 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation). In this document, indicate which part of the main contract has changed, describe in detail everything that you have changed, the reason, the period for which the changes were made. If the term is not specified, then all additional conditions are considered to be indefinite. Sign the supplementary agreement bilaterally.

Step 3

Issue the order, familiarize the employee with it against receipt. Make changes to your job responsibilities, since it is prohibited by law to reduce wages and at the same time not reduce the amount of work performed, and you may be fined when checking the labor inspectorate.

Step 4

If you have a trade union organization, then you cannot change wages without a decision of the union meeting (article 135 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation).

Step 5

Employees who do not agree to work in the new conditions can quit if the employer cannot offer them another job with the same salary (Article 77 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation).

Step 6

The employer has the right to reduce wages and shorten the working day if a difficult crisis situation has arisen at the enterprise, but even in this case it is necessary to obtain a decision of the meeting of the trade union organization, warn employees and draw up an additional agreement, with the specified period of the shortened working day and wages up to 6 months (Article 93 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation).

Step 7

Also, wages can be changed and all employees can be transferred to payments from production. To do this, notify all employees 2 months in advance, draw up an additional agreement, order, amend the payment of bonuses and incentives in internal legal documents, get a decision of the trade union organization, if any.
