The law describes in more detail the possibility of an officer to resign from service at his own request. However, in practice, one has to face bureaucratic difficulties and the unwillingness of the authorities to meet halfway. In order for the desire to quit to be crowned with success, you need to know exactly the order of this procedure.
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, it is necessary to correctly draw up a resignation report. The most important point of the document, which should influence the decision of the commission, is the reason why it is necessary to complete the work. The legislation adopted a list of conditions that are considered valid for dismissal. Such reasons include: the relocation of a soldier's family abroad, the inability to support the family on the salary received, the pregnancy of a woman officer, and the death of a close relative, after which the person cannot continue to work.
Step 2
The unit commander who accepts the report must convene an attestation commission to make a decision on dismissal. The composition of the commission usually includes: the deputy chief of the unit, commanders of platoon units, lawyers and people involved in educational work in the unit. The meeting process is recorded by the secretary. They are usually assigned one of the officers.
Step 3
The attestation commission examines the report and all documents attached to it. It is also necessary to listen to the officer who will personally explain the reasons why he wants to quit. Based on the results of the meeting, the members of the commission come to a definite decision. It must be brought to the head of the unit, and he, in turn, will make the final verdict.
