The insurance experience includes the full period of a citizen's employment, during which he participated in the compulsory social insurance program. This includes work under an employment contract, a period of service in civil or government agencies, caring for a child under the age of three. To count them, you need a work book or employment contracts.

Step 1

Remember that the average earnings can be calculated by dividing the total amount of earnings accrued for a specific billing period by 730. The amount of earnings includes all types of payments and benefits of the insured person. At the same time, this amount cannot be more than the limit established for the assessment of contributions. The limit value changes every calendar year. Information about it can be obtained from the accounting department or from the employer who has entered into an employment contract with you.

Step 2

Calculate sick leave based on the minimum wage (minimum wage) if the citizen's insurance experience is less than 6 months. The minimum wage changes quite often, so it is necessary to consult the accounting department about its value.

Step 3

Get paid 60 percent of the average daily earnings if your insurance experience is up to 5 years, 80 percent if your insurance experience is from 5 to 8 years. 100% of the average daily earnings can be obtained only with an insurance experience of at least 8 years. At the same time, be aware that expectant mothers receive 100% of the average earnings, even if they have worked in this place for less than 6 months. The same exception applies to citizens who have received an occupational injury. The length of service for sick leave in these two cases does not matter.

Step 4

Claim benefits from your former employer if the sick leave was issued within one month after the dismissal. The reason for the dismissal and the duration of the illness do not play any role. At the same time, you can get 60% of the average earnings if the employment contract was concluded more than six months ago. If an employee has worked in the company for less than this period, then he can count on 1 minimum wage. Here it should be clarified: the allowance is issued only when the citizen himself was sick, but not his child or other family member.
