Conflict is one of the components of human communication that accompanies a person everywhere: in society, in the family, at work. A conflict situation at work can be considered one of the working moments to which you need to respond adequately and try to get out of it with minimal losses.

Instructions

Step 1

If the conflict in which you have become a participant concerns an industrial or organizational problem and is caused by different views of colleagues on its solution, it can be called constructive. It will be quite easy to resolve such a conflict. To do this, invite everyone who is authorized to solve the problem raised to get together, in turn, express ways of solving it and jointly choose the most successful one.

Step 2

If you quarreled with a colleague because of the dissimilarity of your characters, i.e. the conflict occurred as a result of personal confrontation, try to settle it, even if you consider yourself absolutely right. After all, if you do not have the best relationships with employees, you will feel uncomfortable in the workplace, which will affect your productivity and health.

Step 3

Do not become self-contained, listening to colleagues whispering behind your back. Turn on your imagination and imagine that your abuser is actually quite a good person, he just, like most people, has his own intrapersonal problems, which provoked an interpersonal conflict between you. Find positive qualities in an unpleasant employee, because there is something good in every person. Maybe he brings food from home every morning for a stray cat that spins at the door of your office, or maybe just conscientiously performs his daily duties. With the power of imagination, try to strengthen his good qualities, and you will notice how your attitude towards the offender will gradually change. Talk to him openly, declare your desire to resolve the conflict, invite him to calmly express his point of view again, and together find a compromise solution to the problem.

Step 4

If you have a conflict with your boss, follow these tactics. Listen carefully to the words of the leader, without interrupting or giving vent to emotions. When he finishes, leave the office without a word. Pull yourself together and calm down, prepare a reasoned speech and ask for an audience with the boss. Say that you admit your mistakes (if you were really wrong) and try not to repeat them in the future. If the boss undeservedly shouted at you, invite him to express his complaints again, but in a calm atmosphere.

Step 5

Remember that by learning to manage conflict, you can keep yourself and those around you healthy.
