An obstacle to making claims to a seller who sells goods on the market is often the lack of cash registers, which is not prohibited by law, but makes it difficult to prove that the purchase was made from this particular seller.

However, the seller's refusal to return or exchange goods on the basis of the buyer's absence of a check is a violation of clause 5 of Art. 18 of the Law "On Protection of Consumer Rights", since the buyer has the right to refer to the testimony and provide other documents in support of the purchase.

There are rules for the sale of certain types of goods, for example, food products, alcoholic beverages, etc. On the basis of these rules, the consumer may require the seller to provide the conclusion of the veterinary and sanitary examination, permission to trade in alcohol in a specific meta. Refusal to provide such information is a violation of consumer rights.

When purchasing goods on the market, the buyer can make claims for the return, replacement of the goods, its free repair, etc. on the basis of Art. 18 of the Law "On Protection of Consumer Rights", if deficiencies are found in the product or under Art. 25 of the said law, if the goods of proper quality did not fit in shape, dimensions, size or color.
