A fixed-term employment contract is a contract that is concluded for a specific period of time. Employers in their work hire employees to perform temporary work, for example, in the case of the main employee leaving on vacation or for some kind of seasonal work. The personnel staff may have a question: how to draw up documents in relation to an employee who is temporarily employed.
Instructions
Step 1
The first thing you need to do is get an application from a new employee. Its content may not differ in any way from the document that is made by the main staff. The only thing he can do is to clarify that he wants to get a temporary job.
Step 2
After that, make copies from the passport, from the education document, from the insurance certificate, from the certificate of registration with the Federal Tax Service (TIN) and from others. Also, you must take a work book, medical certificate (if necessary), military ID (if any).
Step 3
Next, draw up a job order. You must, as with the main employee, assign a personnel number to the temporarily hired person. The procedure for filling out this document is no different from other orders, the only thing you need is to indicate that the employee is hired for a certain period. At the end, sign the order and give it to the employee for signature.
Step 4
Then conclude an employment contract. Be sure to include the fact that the employee is a temporary worker. Also check the period of his work, that is, the duration of the employment contract. This can be done both in the form of the exact date of termination of the document, or simply indicate the time period, that is, write that the employment contract is concluded for a month (two months, six months, a year, etc.).
Step 5
Please note that you cannot conclude a fixed-term employment contract for more than five years, that is, if you specify a longer period, the employee will be employed for an indefinite period.
Step 6
After the employee is registered, make changes to the staffing table. To do this, issue an order. Also, you must make an entry in the employee's work book, while it is not necessary to indicate that the work is temporary. After the dismissal, an entry is made: "Dismissed due to the expiration of the employment contract."
