For example, you find an attractive job ad, come for an interview, and you are offered something completely different from what is promised in the ad. Suppose you are applying for the position of economist, and you are offered the position of sales manager with the obligatory condition to buy a number of the company's products. What are the signs that you can understand that the company is not what it claims to be?

So when you read a job posting, what should you worry about?

First, it is illogical: they are ready to invite a job seeker without work experience to a managerial position, and they also promise high wages. Also, when communicating on the phone, it may turn out that there are no requirements for education either.

Secondly, it is not very informative and not specific. If the ad contains little information about the work and about the company, and when a phone call is made, an employee of the HR department answers questions reluctantly and in general terms, but immediately invites you for an interview, promises a high salary, while making no serious demands on the specialist, - this is a reason to think.

Thirdly, until recently, the company's field of activity (usually "network marketing") is kept secret, and only after the interview will you find out that I am offering you the wrong job that you expected.

Fourthly, a crowded office and queues of applicants can cause suspicion, because a serious company usually plans to communicate with applicants and does not invite a whole group of applicants at the same time.

Fifthly, in the office of a dubious company, you will most likely be offered a very short questionnaire (1 sheet) to fill out, which will not be difficult to fill out.

Knowing these signs will help you avoid wasting time and other unpleasant moments when looking for a job. Be vigilant and be attentive!
