The main identity document of a citizen of the Russian Federation is a passport. Wherever you go, whatever organization you apply to, you will need to present your passport to confirm your identity. Therefore, the question of obtaining this basic document is the most important in the life of a citizen of his state.
Instructions
Step 1
Provide the FMS with a birth certificate, a document confirming Russian citizenship, a certificate of registration (for males), a document of registration at the place of residence, two 35x45 photographs, a receipt confirming the payment of a state duty in the amount of 200 rubles and an application in a certain form proposed to you in the FMS department.
Step 2
When you reach the age of 20, you will be required to have a valid passport instead of a birth certificate. In exchange, after 10 days you will receive a new one.
Step 3
If your passport is lost or worn out, you must write a statement indicating the circumstances that led to such consequences. In this case, the amount of the state duty will increase.
Step 4
If you are not a citizen of the Russian Federation, then in order to obtain a passport, you need to draw up a document confirming the receipt of citizenship. To do this, you must submit an application, attaching the necessary package of documents to it, such as: an identity document and confirming the citizenship of another country or lack thereof; document from the place of residence; 3 photos of 3x4 size; receipt of payment of state duty or consular fee. Do not forget about confirming the grounds for obtaining Russian citizenship.
Step 5
If you are a foreign citizen or stateless person, you must also present a residence permit and documents confirming the existence of means of subsistence, command of the Russian language or (if necessary) the passport of a disabled parent who has Russian citizenship.
