Currently, it is possible to make transactions and exchange information using an electronic digital signature - EDS remotely. Law 149-FZ "On documenting information" certifies that EDS is today equated to a handwritten signature, is a legally formalized procedure and entails liability in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.

Step 1
EDS is a sequence of symbols obtained by converting any information using special programs. EDS is added to the original document during transmission and is unique. It is almost impossible to counterfeit, and any change will invalidate it.
The security of the electronic signature is ensured by the issuance of a special EDS certificate, which is carried out in accordance with Federal Law No. 63-FZ "On Electronic Signatures" and other regulatory acts.
Step 2
Revocation of an EDS certificate or its suspension is possible in the following cases: if your organization has changed its details (for example, TIN or name); if your organization has changed the person authorized to own the digital signature; if the medium on which the EDS key was stored is broken; if your EDS key has been compromised. In these cases, it is necessary to obtain a new certificate by canceling the previous one. It is not difficult, and the entire recall procedure takes place within 24 hours.
Step 3
Write a sample certificate revocation application, fill in all fields legibly, sign and stamp.
Step 4
Scan the application and send it to the email address of the regional office of your Certification Center. A paper version can also be sent by mail. But it will take longer.
Step 5
Contact your manager by phone or e-mail, tell us about the problem, find out the conditions for changing the key, details for paying for its reissue.
By e-mail you will receive a message about your certificate revocation, and the message “Certificate revoked” will appear in the status of your organization's certificate.
Step 6
You can control the revocation of a certificate in the list of revoked certificates, which is periodically published on the Internet, in the certificate file on the "Contents" tab, there is the URL of the distribution point of the CRL.
