The insurance certificate of compulsory pension insurance, or as it is also called - SNILS, is usually found in the documents required for registration of a pension, as well as various benefits. You can get SNILS only through the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation.
Instructions
Step 1
You can get SNILS through your employer. When you sign an agreement with an employer, within fourteen days he sends information to the territorial body of the Pension Fund - your insured person's questionnaire for obtaining SNILS. You check and sign this form.
Step 2
After receiving the documents, the Pension Federal Fund within twenty-one days draws up a pension certificate and a personal account in your name, where the insurance number is also indicated.
Step 3
Next, SNILS is transferred to your employer along with an accompanying sheet.
Step 4
The employer issues your insurance certificate within seven days from the date of receipt, which must be confirmed by a signature on the accompanying sheet.
Step 5
If it was decided to refuse you in obtaining SNILS, then this is reported to your employer and you personally.
Step 6
To independently obtain an insurance pension certificate, you need to come to the Pension Federal Fund at the place of your registration, presenting your passport and filling out the insured person's questionnaire. SNILS is issued in this case within fourteen days.
Step 7
The insurance pension number assigned to you is individual and does not change after entering information about it in the federal database of the pension fund.
Step 8
If you lose SNILS, you can get it again, your insurance pension number will remain the same. To do this, you need to submit an application from the insured person to the Pension Fund about the loss of SNILS and within a month you will be able to receive a duplicate of the specified insurance certificate.
