Dismissal of an employee during the probationary period is the basis for termination of the contract on the initiative of the employer. Failure to comply with the dismissal procedure by the employer entails reinstatement at work.

Step 1
Prepare documents justifying the dismissal as having failed the test. Such documents can be: memoranda of the immediate supervisor, acts on the release of defective products, complaints from contractors, explanatory notes, testimony of witnesses. Sufficient evidence must be collected to demonstrate that the employee is not qualified and is unable to perform the job properly.
Step 2
Give a warning 3 days before the dismissal, indicating the reason for the dismissal against signature. In case of refusal to receive a warning, this fact is recorded in the act.
Step 3
Issue a termination order. As a basis, personnel officers recommend specifying paragraph 14 of Part 1 of Art. 81 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, indicating the reason: dismissed due to an unsatisfactory test result. Enter the appropriate entries in the work book and the employee's personal card. Introduce them to the employee against signature.
Step 4
Issue a work book and pay the amounts due on the last day of work.
