There are a number of signs by which you can determine that a person is about to be fired. It is beneficial for the employer to leave the employee of his own free will, so he will create all the conditions for this. If the signs are recognized in time, then you can try to keep the position or start looking for another place.
Difficulties at work happen to everyone. The company can undergo various changes that affect the work of the team. The boss may be dissatisfied, overloaded with work, colleagues may turn away or stop communicating. Even a written reprimand is not yet a reason for dismissal, but there are a number of signs indicating that one will soon have to say goodbye to a familiar place.
All orders are received in writing
If earlier orders were given orally, then suddenly they began to act exclusively in writing. Reports on them are also required in writing, including explanatory notes for non-compliance. The employer must provide documentary justification for your dismissal.
At the same time, control by the authorities is increasing. How quickly and efficiently the assigned tasks are carried out, how well the employee copes with his duties, even punctuality matters. If earlier the bosses turned a blind eye to being late or early leaving, now this may be one of the reasons for dismissal.
Impossible tasks are set
If it is impossible to find fault with an employee, then conditions for dismissal must be created. For example, to give in advance impossible tasks and failed projects. Thus, the employer has a reason to dismiss the employee as incompetent or inconsistent with the position held.
At the same time, unbearable working conditions are being created. A person is deliberately driven into stressful states, provoked into conflict. This is done in order for the employee to quit of his own free will. It is not possible to fire an employee just like that, his rights are protected by the Labor Code. If you dismiss by agreement of the parties or redundancy, then additional payments must be made, which the employer does not want at all.
Less responsibilities
The opposite situation is also possible, when responsibilities suddenly become less. Orders cease to arrive, part of the responsibility has been transferred to another employee, subordinates are transferred to other departments or other bosses.
All this may indicate that the employee is going to be fired and his affairs are gradually being transferred. Perhaps they will persistently offer to go on vacation. During this time, the employer will look for a replacement.
Cut wages
The size of bonuses, bonuses and other salary payments has decreased markedly. The employer can argue that the company is in financial difficulties. If all employees have not received their salaries, then it is quite possible that this is so, but if only you are underpaid, most likely they are going to be fired.
In addition to the salary, there may be a refusal in other bonuses, for example, they were transferred from a separate office to a common working room, they stopped compensating for gasoline costs, etc. In this case, everything will be documented within the framework of the law. By such actions, the employer can push the employee to dismiss of his own free will.
Strange behavior of colleagues, gossip behind the back, alienation
Colleagues suddenly changed their behavior, they no longer call for lunch or a smoke break. Whispers have appeared behind them, and employees are throwing strange, sometimes sympathetic looks. A certain exclusion zone has appeared. Most likely, the entire department is already aware of whom they are going to fire, but they cannot inform about it.
Another warning sign is if your line manager begins to contact your employee subordinates directly. This suggests that the person has already been "written off" and the notice of dismissal will come soon.
One of the signs does not yet mean that the employee is going to be fired. But the combination of several already suggests that it is time to look for a new job or take measures to retain the position.
