Today every second resident of the village has no official job. Collective and state farms in most regions have collapsed or are barely making ends meet. A few farms cannot provide jobs for all residents. If you make a little effort in the village, then you can independently have earnings all year round without investing initial capital or with minimal investment.

Step 1
First of all, you can earn from your personal plot. In early spring, sow radishes, onions and herbs. The harvest can be sold independently in the nearest city or handed over to dealers. If you make your own sale of the crop, having transport, at the same time you can buy up the neighbors' crop at a wholesale price and negotiate with everyone who does not have work on the supply of the first greens and vegetables. Planting cabbage, carrots, beets, potatoes on the vacated area of the site - this is also highly valued by city dwellers and is easy to sell, especially if prices are slightly reduced.
Step 2
Keeping 2-3 cows on the farm also brings good income. Milk, cottage cheese, sour cream, meat from calves are sold. The remaining skimmed milk can be fed to the sows. Only one sow brings 2-3 litters of piglets per year, and in a litter there are up to 12-16 pieces. If the breed of pigs is good, then the meat can be sold in 6-7 months. The remaining piglets are sold and purchased with the proceeds of feed.
Step 3
All summer you can pick mushrooms and berries in the forest. Children can do this. You can sell products at the market of the village, the nearest town or on the highway passing by the village. It also generates good income.
Step 4
If you save up some money from the sale of your own products, then you can engage in a wider production of agricultural products or animal husbandry.
Step 5
In general, even in the most run-down village, you can earn a comfortable existence. The main thing is to strive for this and make efforts.
