I would like to share my personal opinion about the Turbotext content exchange. You can find a variety of reviews about this resource, but more, of course, good ones. Given the exchange's aggressive advertising, this is not surprising. I hope my review will be useful to those who are just starting their career as a copywriter.

The history of my cooperation with the Turbotext content exchange

I registered on the turbotext ru content exchange more than a year ago, when I was just starting to work as a copywriter. I was lucky - I passed the test without problems, I got an A for my essay.

In the beginning, everything was fine. For some time I worked quite closely at Turbotext, even entered the first hundred authors, hoping to reach a high level. Prices at the basic level left much to be desired - 40-50 rubles per 1000 characters. For a week of hard work, I managed to earn a maximum of 3,000 rubles. The payment for spaces, which lure copywriters here, is completely eaten up by the high commission of the system, so this feature does not bring much benefit to the authors.

After 2 months, I was suddenly denied access to orders more than 32 rubles, and to my question the administration replied that the quality of my texts was not good enough. At the same time, no official fines are imposed on me, my request to indicate a specific order with “not good enough quality” is answered with general phrases. I note that by this time more than 200 orders have been written, there were no refusals from customers, the average score and statistics in the profile are still normal. Wonders??? In the network about the exchange "Turbotext" such reviews are not uncommon.

Fulfilling personal orders, I still managed to get to the high-level test (I hoped that the restriction would be lifted from me). It was not so - by today I have already received a four for the test twice, and I see only the cheapest orders in the feed. At the same time, I will say without false modesty that I have long grown from the prices that turbotext offers me, so I stopped working there even for personal orders. I now successfully work on several very decent closed content exchanges, but it is on turbotext ru that there are some special criteria for the quality of a copywriter's work, which I know nothing about (alas), so I cannot meet them.

When I began to analyze the cause of my failures, I discovered very interesting things that I had not paid attention to before:

  • over the past three months, no one has passed the test for a high level (I looked at the statistics). You can see for yourself: tab in the taskbar "info" - "test tasks".
  • actively working authors, gaining quite a decent rating, sharply lose their activity and in the future work only on personal orders;
  • even getting a high level does not guarantee access to expensive orders - I saw only rare personalities in the profile of some of these authors; at the same time, I remember well that they were actively writing a few months ago, which leads to certain thoughts …

"Turbotext": reviews

All this cannot but raise questions, therefore my reviews about the Turbotext exchange are unflattering and coincide with most of the statements that I have met on the forums for copywriters:

  1. Proofreaders there evaluate texts according to completely incomprehensible criteria - I specifically read the test assignments in the profile of top authors and tests in the general list of the "info" tab that were written recently.
  2. The rules are invented on the fly, when contacting support, which I regard as disrespect for copywriters. For the owners, this is just a crowd of hungry beggars who are ready to work for a penny (I cannot find another suitable analogy) and agree to all the quirks of the administration.
  3. There are not many permanently contributing authors, mostly newbies who have not yet figured out the system and hope to further increase the rating. Actually, who else will write at such prices?
  4. Many are restricted from accessing orders with a vague promise to open it "when the quality of the texts improves." As I understand it, this is done to force the authors to take orders constantly hanging in the tape for 20 rubles with ridiculous demands.

There are few orders at decent prices on Turbotext, so it makes no sense to give everyone a high level, and no one needs extra competitors on the basic one. It's pointless to find out something on the forum. This guarantees receiving a warning or an eternal ban, getting into the list of unwanted. You can write there only things that are pleasant for the administration, everything else is carefully cleaned up.

I have no offense, only annoyance for the wasted time writing test papers that no one needs. I consider it my duty to speak out about the Turbotext content exchange: my feedback, perhaps, will help others to save time. If you think that your ceiling is to write rather complex texts for 20-30-50 rubles, try, register and work. A dubious advantage is to take orders with stupid requirements without a tender. If you dream of making good money on copywriting, do not waste your time on turbotext ru, there are other good content exchanges on the Internet with adequate administration and transparent working rules.

Micro-tasks, which are also actively advertised by "Turbotext", I did not try to fulfill, so I have nothing to say about them.
