However, divide the answers by your own impressions, of which there will be more and more every day. Try, especially at first, not to get involved in washing the bones of your bosses and colleagues. It is clear that you cannot forbid others to do this, but no one will bother you to refrain from actively participating in such conversations about people whom you, moreover, do not know so far, and therefore did not have time to form your own opinion about them.

But the willingness to cooperate and help within the framework of their official duties, and in some ways outside them, but in solving a problem within the framework of the production process, will bring you additional points in the eyes of both colleagues and superiors. Here, initiative and readiness, if necessary, to defend their point of view will never be superfluous. The main thing is to act on the case. Situations, however, are different. In some, the ability to admit your mistake in time is useful, in others - the option when you yield to strength, for example, hierarchical features, but make it clear that you remain with your point of view. It is not excluded that time will still show your innocence, and then this trump card will still play its role.

In large companies, various team-building activities are often practiced: from trainings to corporate picnics on weekends. Participation in them, especially those that are more focused on leisure than work or study, is usually optional. But it is better not to shy away from this if possible. All this really contributes to team building and the infusion of new employees into it.

One of the colleagues may also be the initiator of informal events. Most companies usually celebrate at least employees' birthdays. Sabantui can also be practiced on the occasion of the admission of a new colleague to the team, but this is not everywhere. If such things are practiced (they may be prohibited or strongly discouraged by the management), it is also better not to shy away if possible, but not to the detriment of the family and other components of life. Elementary norms of politeness and respect for other people will help you to get out of any situation with honor: pay attention to a person and stay in your own interests.
