Necessary

  • -FZ on technical regulation No. 184-FZ;
  • -information resources of ROSSTANDART.

Instructions

Step 1

TU (technical conditions) is a document that establishes technical requirements to which certain objects of the material world (any products, food, etc.) must comply. At the same time, this document must indicate the procedures that must be applied in order to establish whether the requirements established in it are met. TUs are developed on two grounds: by the decision of the developer and at the request of the customer (consumer) of the product, etc.

Step 2

The TU must necessarily include information on the requirements for products, for their production, for control and acceptance. Specifications must be developed for specific materials, items, products, etc. If the TU indicates several specific items of the material world, it is necessary to indicate the OKP code (All-Russian Classifier of Products) for each item. At the same time, the requirements specified in the TU should not contradict the mandatory requirements of state or interstate standards that apply to specific products.

Step 3

GOST is a state standard developed for products. GOSTs are developed by state industry structures. After development, they must be approved by the Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification. It should be noted that each GOST undergoes a lot of laboratory tests, is assessed by researchers of a particular industry, etc. Numerous institutions and experts are involved in all audits. Only after passing all the stages of checks, GOST is allowed for publication. This attitude of the state towards the development of GOSTs is due to the formation of such stringent requirements for products so that the consumer is satisfied.

Step 4

Thus, the main difference between GOST and TU is that GOST establishes requirements for products (technical) and safety, methods of application, scope, methods for analysis. GOST requirements are mandatory for all government agencies. Technical specifications, in turn, are developed by manufacturers independently. As a rule, TU does not impose strict requirements for product quality control. It is for this reason that it is almost impossible to find products made in accordance with GOST on the shelves of many stores. Consequently, products manufactured in accordance with GOST are almost always of much better quality than products manufactured in accordance with TU.
