Step 1
Determine what counts as a bribe in terms of the law. A bribe is money, material values, or any kind of service, accepted by an official, aimed at obtaining personal gain.
Step 2
If you find yourself in a situation in which an official or other representative of the government is persuading you to give a bribe, you should immediately contact the law enforcement agencies and report the extortion. Of course, the investigation will not begin, since at the moment there will be no corpus delicti. However, verification at this institution will be provided.

If the bribe has already been given, what to do? Having already committed a crime, a person realizes that he has become a bribe-giver. In such a situation, submit an application to the prosecutor's office about the fact of transferring money. In this case, the applicant will be the only witness, which from the point of view of the law is circumstantial evidence and does not contribute to the initiation of a criminal case.

To be safe and to prove a bribe, play it safe. If the extortionist assigns a certain amount, reschedule the transfer of money to another day, making an appointment again, ostensibly to discuss details or in order to withdraw money from the account. At this meeting, make a video or audio recording, where you can clearly hear the name of the bribe amount, or you can see how the extortionist writes down the amount on a piece of paper, accepts money from his hands, recounts it.

Contact law enforcement with direct evidence of extortion.

If the money has not yet been transferred, the bribe-taker notes are marked by the police. When handed over, these funds are indisputable evidence for the initiation of a criminal case.
Step 7
In any case, the bribe giver draws up a statement and acts as a witness in the fact of giving a bribe. Complete all required formalities.
