Working from home scares many as a matter of organization. It seems that everyone will be distracted, pets, children, animals, TV. However, if money is really needed, then practice shows that this is motivating.
First you need to take tasks with a timer. For example, freelancers can register on an exchange that issues tasks for a specific time. This helps to keep deadlines. Moreover, this is possible both for authors of texts and for translators, proofreaders, editors, and many others working on projects. The countdown of the remaining time clearly reminds you that you can lose your order, reputation, and money.
It is especially offensive when you start to work, but it's too late, you can't manage to hand over the work, most of it has already been done, and you are left with the work that has been done, but for which no one will pay you, since it was done according to a specific technical assignment.
Moments like these are really motivating. Although this can still be attributed to negative motivation. For example, a good reputation, positive reviews for work delivered on time, a growing rating, and so on can become positive. These are all pretty important indicators. And don't forget about them. By combining reasonably positive and negative aspects of motivation, you can achieve the desired result.
But it's better to take more and tune in to the positive, so as not to start becoming negative, not to look at your life through such a prism. It affects the psyche, puts pressure on it. And in general, there is nothing healthy in this approach to life.
Time management helps a lot in terms of self-organization when working at home. You can, for example, remove all time eaters from your eyes. For example, to teach your family that from such and such a moment to such and such you are not for them. You are busy, you work, you have your bosses. Invite them to pretend you left for work. If it doesn't help, then seriously talk or seriously ask about money.
You can also make signs with your own hands like - do not disturb, working hour, I am busy, I am not. Sometimes it helps, especially if your family is used to perceiving information mainly visually and through things, the reification of something.
For yourself, you can put stickers in a prominent place with a reminder of projects, urgent matters. The alarm clock also helps. You can set it to yourself not only when you need to wake up, but, say, when there is a minimum amount of time left before the delivery of the next project.
