If, in the interval between leaving one job and the device for another, you do not register at an employment center, this will not be a violation. However, being in the status of unemployed gives you the right to receive benefits and receive a number of other social benefits: free training in a new profession, money to start your own business, income statement for calculating subsidies for housing and communal services, etc.
It is necessary
- - the passport;
- - work book with the last record of dismissal;
- - certificate of IP closure or LLC liquidation (if any);
- - a certificate of salary for the year before contacting the employment center from the last place of work in the form of an employment center;
- - education document;
- - birth certificates of children (if any);
- - passbook for calculating unemployment benefits.
Instructions
Step 1
The first thing they want to see at the employment center is your work book with the most recent dismissal record. When calculating the amount of the benefit, the basis for the latter may matter. Those dismissed of their own free will or for violations of labor discipline are entitled to only the minimum allowance. Those who have lost their jobs due to staff reductions or by agreement of the parties can claim more.
If you were an individual entrepreneur or founder of a company, take with you a certificate of termination of the sole proprietorship or liquidation of the company.
You will also need a document on education (diploma or certificate) and if you have a birth certificate for children.
Step 2
At the employment center, after examining your documents, they will give you a salary certificate form from your last job. If you have changed employers during the year, you will need such a document from each of them. If you were laid off more than a year ago, the certificate may not be required.
You give the form to the accounting department, then, having received the finished document, you come to the employment center.
Most likely, by this time you will be advised to open a savings bank for calculating benefits. In some cases, this can be done only in a limited number of Sberbank branches, a list of which will be provided to you at the employment center.
Step 3
When you bring a complete package of documents to the employment center, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire. Basically, questions relate to personal data: name, address, passport data, etc.
Particularly noteworthy are the sections on job requirements (here it is better not to be modest, because then on this basis they will then decide which vacancies are suitable for you, and several refusals from a suitable job are fraught with deprivation of benefits) and the help from the center that you expect to receive: benefits unemployment, finding a suitable job, free training, subsidies for starting a business, etc.
It is worth pointing out only those that you really count on. With regard to free education, it is better not to flatter yourself: the number of places on such courses is limited, and the quality of education may not be up to par.
Step 4
After registration, you will be assigned the first day and time when you must check in at the employment center. This must be taken seriously. Failure to appear at the due time without a valid reason (sick leave is recognized as a supporting document) threatens with deprivation of benefits.
