Step 1
The guarantee of social support for weak citizens is regulated by Article 27 on the protection of the health of citizens of the Russian Federation and amendments 5487-1 of December 2, 2000, as well as by Laws 195-F3 and 202 on a nursing home. But laws give a guarantee only on paper, but in fact it is very difficult to get into these institutions, since they are overcrowded with elderly citizens and disabled people, for whom there is no one to look after. Therefore, even after collecting the documents, you can wait for a voucher from social protection for more than one year.
Step 2
Contact the district department of social protection of the population with a statement. If you find it difficult to walk, you can call a representative from this organization by phone or ask neighbors, acquaintances to contact this organization.
Step 3
You will need to collect a number of tests and draw up a medical record for admission to a nursing home. The list of analyzes and medical reports is very large - ECG, blood, urine, feces, the conclusion of all narrow specialists, fluorography. That is, in the clinic you will have to spend at least a week and at the same time there are huge queues everywhere. Therefore, if it is difficult for you to run this "marathon obstacle race" on your own, call your local therapist at home and ask for a referral to the hospital, where everything will be done on the spot and given ready-made.
Step 4
After receiving the medical record, inform the social security inspector that all medical documents are ready. You will be given a voucher with the address of the institution. Transfer your pension to this address to receive it locally. Social protection authorities should help you get to the nursing home.
Step 5
If your home has been registered as the property, then it will remain with you. Community housing will only be yours for 6 months and then go to the local municipality.
Step 6
If relatives show up who are ready to care for you, you will be discharged from the institution. Also, by agreement with the administration, you can go home for one month.
