Modern working conditions often involve working from home. Partly or full-time, but the overwhelming majority of people can now work without leaving their own apartment. For many, this is convenient, but working from home requires a well-organized workplace.
Instructions
Step 1
Of course, for such professionals as a hairdresser, tailor, dentist or lawyer in private practice, rather than a working corner, you need a specially equipped room. For such purposes, whole apartments are most often rented, which are equipped as required by this or that business.
Step 2
The workplace at home is organized by people who are mainly engaged in intellectual work - teachers, researchers, journalists, advertisers, programmers, etc. The main furniture of the working area is a table, computer, chair, bookcase or roomy shelves.
Step 3
The working surface of the table must be at least 140 cm long and 70 cm wide. The table should be equipped with drawers in which it is convenient to store documents, papers and office stuff. Order at the workplace is the key to fruitful work. And the presence of additional sections will save the table from cluttering.
Step 4
The main work area is the center of the table. It is here that the computer is located, it is also convenient to do writing here. All materials necessary for work are located to the left and right of the workplace. It can be a certain literature, calendar, organizer, etc. But it is better to remove the phone from the table on some nightstand, to the right or to the left of you.
Step 5
Modern computer tables are very compact and convenient for homework, as they have built-in shelves for storing office supplies, and are also equipped with a pull-out keyboard board.
Step 6
The chair should be comfortable, preferably soft, and always with a back. Whether it will be equipped with rollers is a private matter for everyone. To some, these chairs seem uncomfortable because of their mobility.
Step 7
Organizing your workplace and not thinking about lighting is a gross mistake. To work fruitfully, you must be comfortable both in daylight and in the evening. The light source should be located either directly or to the left. Based on this rule, the desktop is placed to the left of the window or right in front of it. Additional lighting is also installed. Luminaires with a flexible arm, which allow you to adjust the direction of light flow, have proven themselves very well. For those who are disturbed by table lamps, built-in lights and neon tubes have been invented.
Step 8
The working area can be fenced off with a screen or a special partition. In this case, there will be an illusion of your own office and complete isolation. For those who work from home, this is important, as such an environment promotes concentration.
