The calculation of the watchman's salary is a little different than the calculation of the payment for the work of other employees. When calculating, consider all aspects of the security guard's work and the payroll rules in general. Depending on the mode of operation of the enterprise or any organization that hires watchmen, the procedure for calculating the wages of such workers changes. For example, the salary of a school attendant will not differ in terms of accrual from the standard salary of any other employee. However, in most cases, watchmen are hired at night, so you need to clearly know how to calculate the watchman's salary according to all the rules.

When calculating the salary of the watchman, rely on the balance of the working hours of the enterprise. If the object is guarded daily, then it is better to divide the watchman's work schedule into night and day shifts.

Pay for day shifts based on the general salary rule. Since the objects are guarded daily, the day shift may fall on a weekend or a public holiday. In this case, pay double the rate for the watchman's work. Night shifts are counted from 22:00 to 6:00. In this case, charge the employee the basic rate of the official salary, adding to it 35% of the hourly rate for each hour worked. The procedure for payment on weekends and holidays remains the same as for payroll for day caretakers.

It is not recommended to set a 24-hour working day for the watchman. Better to divide it into two or three shifts.
