Step 2

Move on to basting the lace. Make 5mm pleats every 5cm of lace ribbon. Fold it with the satin piece right sides to each other and baste, stepping back 1.5 cm from the edge.

Step 3

Now lay in a satin ribbon. Cut it into 4 pieces and pin it between lace and satin. Secure the first segment, stepping back 8 cm from the bottom, and the second - 20 cm up in a symmetrical manner on both parts. In this case, the edges of the tape should be directed inward. Iron the seam with a warm iron.

Step 4

Bend the bottom edge of the satin piece by 1.5 cm and stitch the bottom of the flannel to it. Iron the seam with an iron. Then fold the flannel section so that it and the satin section are facing each other, with ribbon and lace visible between them. Stitch along the seam with which the lace was sewn, turn the part inside out and iron it out.

Step 5

Cut out most of the satin. The segment K11-K10-K1 should be decorated with lace, making folds, as in the previous part. Stitch parts A and B along the edge of K11-SiK12-D, overlaying them on the lace ribbon. Sew a tape to points C and D, each of the segments which will be 15 cm long and iron the seam.

Step 6

Make a pattern of the satin part C1-K10-D1 and a flannel square, as in the figure. The length of the side of the square will be 35 cm. Sweep these parts and iron the seam.

Step 7

Cut out a flannel piece measuring 55x35 cm, measuring the width not along the share thread, but along the edge of the fabric. Stitch this piece with the narrow side to the bottom of the large satin section and iron the seam. Fold the edge of the part, which is 10 cm above the seam, and sew 2 pieces of tape 15 cm each at the corners of the fold. Then sew the folded edge on the sides to the part.

Step 8

Place the small satin-flannel part of the envelope overlapping the large part with parts A and B sewn on and stitch along the line of the overlap of the lace ribbon. You should have a pocket. Finish the seams with an overlock, turn the envelope through the pocket and iron. Then insert the mattress in the same way through the pocket.
