Perhaps the most important thing in working from home should be your workplace. It should be in order every morning, so after each working day you need to devote 3-5 minutes to cleaning it. It is much easier than removing it rarely, but for a long time. The workplace should have everything you need for your work: it can be documents, notebooks and pens, staplers, stickers.
Make sure your workplace is comfortable and workable. Working with a laptop in bed is, of course, convenient, but clearly not as productive as at a separate desk, even the sight of which already pushes you to serious work. In addition, it is advisable to eliminate all unnecessary irritants: televisions, radios. Relatives should also explain that this is a working time for you, that you should not be distracted by trifles.
Try to set a specific work schedule for yourself. You should not start work "according to your mood", try to start and finish work at the same time every day. Try not to work much less or much longer than the set time. As for food, there should be no sandwiches, soups or buns in the workplace! Take time for tea and lunch breaks.
Make a daily to-do list every morning, and a weekly goal list every week. This will help to sort cases according to their importance, without taking on the first case that comes across and not wasting time on unnecessary ones. Keep these lists in front of your eyes at all times. Reward yourself by crossing out every completed task. This will visually remind you of how much you have already been able to do. Even if you are still that workaholic, you shouldn't work 7 days a week. Make yourself a weekend of social, family, loved ones and leisure activities. This will make it easier to get up in the morning on the next work day, refreshed and happy.
